The competition will be hosted on Marywood's Campus on Friday, April 25th at 7 pm in the Performing Arts Center. All are welcome to attend! 

Some information about Micki: 

When I was initially approached to participate in the competition, I immediately wanted to say yes. Still, I was hesitant because I am always very busy and tend to say yes to everything. However, my passion to help the community and my love of the Marywood community (and dancing) led me to accept this amazing opportunity. 

I am the Program Director for the Master's and Dietetic Internship Program and an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Health, Nutrition, and Exercise Science Department at Marywood University. I have been working at Marywood for 5 years, but I like to say I bleed green and gold because I also completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Marywood. I also serve as the Faculty Advisor for the service-social sorority on campus, Zeta Phi Delta. 

Marywood has always felt like home to me, and the community is so welcoming. I have so many fond memories of Marywood as a student and now as a faculty member. 

By trade, I am a dietitian and have worked in healthcare and community settings prior to working at Marywood, and I have many friends, colleagues, and family who have connections to LVHN. 

In my spare time, I am also a stand-up and improv comedian. 

This is such an important cause, and I want this to be a reminder to live life to the fullest and say yes to things, even if they are scary! Thank you for your support.

Hello! I am excited to announce that I will be participating in the Marywood Dance Marathon and the Pacers version of Dancing with the Stars as a pro on April 25th at 7 pm. As the youngest person in this competition, this is the first ever dance that I choreographed that will be making it to the stage, and I am so happy that it is for such a great cause. It is such an honor to get to use my passion, dance, to do my other passion, which is helping kids! Below is a link to donate to Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital through my team. The more money we raise, the more likely we are to win Fan Favorite, and the more we can help, which is all about the kids! Be sure to support in any way you can!
