Fundraise for Lehigh Valley Health Network: Mr. Daulton E Heintzelman

My name is Daulton Heintzelman, and I am a competitive powerlifter who trains at Ambition Gym in New Tripoli, PA. My gym provides the equipment I need to train for events. I compete in powerlifting events across Pennsylvania and currently hold three first-place medals in the United States Powerlifting Association (USPA), one in Powerlifting America (PLA), and a third-place medal in the National Powerlifting League (NPL). My next competition is on October 4, 2025, at Avenger Gym in Harrisburg, PA.

This event is particularly special to me not only because it coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but also because I am raising money for families facing financial hardship due to a breast cancer battle. My family experienced this struggle firsthand with my Nana. She fought two rounds of breast cancer. The first time, the cancer was caught early, and after receiving non-chemotherapy treatments, she went into remission for 13 years. The second diagnosis hit our family hard. Nana bravely fought for another five and a half years until she earned her wings and was lifted up.

I believe I can lift a total of 1,500 pounds in my next competition, aiming for 500 pounds in the deadlift, 485 pounds in the squat, and 300 pounds in the bench press. I get three attempts in each event and will increase the weight as I can to reach my 1,500-pound goal. I am aiming for my highest total weights across all three lifts yet. My mom and I are on a mission to raise $1,500 or more to help other families who need financial assistance during a breast cancer diagnosis. Donations will be made to Lehigh Valley Hospital Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund.
