“Inspiration”
“Connection”
“Deepening of Relationships”
“New Skills for Care for Self, Colleague and Patient”
…these are some of the takeaways from nurses transformed through the immersive experiences of the LVHN Integrative Healing Arts Academy.
This six-month intensive training program for nurses and other health care professionals is delivered by the expert faculty of the Birch Tree Center for Healthcare Transformation. Through education in new modalities and the nurturing of meaning and purpose, professional and personal development occurs at an extraordinary depth. Participants have assignments and projects and are connected with an expert holistic nurse mentor from other healthcare systems with self-sustaining integrative care. Enhanced engagement in collaborative practice, patient care, personal well-being, and an increased positive perspective of the caring process are outcomes of this training.
Birch Tree Center for Health Care Transformation provides a train the trainer option for LVHN to become self-sustaining with an internal program which provides practical ways to enhance colleague well-being as well as contribute to recruitment and retention efforts by meeting the interests of new professionals. The first five cohorts are focusing on bedside nursing with a few spaces for other disciplines.
You are invited to be a part of the transformative change in healthcare with your financial donation which will go directly to the program tuition and costs. It is with great pleasure that my donation is made to the LVHN Integrative Healing Arts Academy in the memory of Lois Brown to support tuition for our LVHN nurses in deepening their professional and personal caring. - Maggie Brown
